El trabajo es una reflexión sobre la búsqueda de formas de construcción de comunidad. 

Perdida la ilusión de la religión, fabrico con elementos de naufragio talismanes para encontrar ese lugar perdido de origen. ¿De dónde soy, adónde pertenezco? 

¿Dónde están aquellxs a quienes he perdido sin siquiera conocerlxs? 

Mis maderas se multiplican. Abarrotan la ausencia. Quizás alguna sea la clave para anclar donde nuevamente todo tenga sentido.

 

Ramas encontradas talladas y pintadas a mano, tela de lino dibujada y bordada, dorado a la hoja, cordón de algodón, pelo humano.

Originally inspired by the devotion of Gauchito Gil, the work is a reflection on the search for ways to build community. Lost the illusion of religion, I make with shipwreck items talismans to find that place lost of origin. Where am I from, where do I belong? Where are those whom I have lost without even knowing them? My woods multiply. They crowd the absence. Maybe some would be the key to anchor where everything makes sense again.

 

Found branches carved and painted by hand, drawn and embroidered linen fabric, gold leaf, cotton cord, human hair.
